  (i) Pilot testing of new organisation arrangements and operational procedures,          decentralization of decision making at district level by creating of Agricultural Technology management Agency (ATMA).
  (ii) To increase the programme coordinator and integration for making more effective and efficient implementation.
  (iii) To increase the farmer input into programme planning and resource allocation.

  (i) Increase the effectiveness of technology support services by making them more
       demand  driven responsive to location specific problems of farmers.


 (ii)  Develop and strengthen institutional linkage that would result in shared objectives
        and ownership of key stakeholders.


 (iii) Empower farmers through farmer organization/ associations to play stronger role in
        management system.


 (iv) Increase financial sustainability of public technology dissemination system.

 (v)  Develop new partnership with private institutions.

1 Diversification and intensification of farming system (by introduction of high value commodities or value added marketing and processing activities).
2 Improvement in productivity/ income of different enterprises/ commodities.
3 Improvement in sustainability of productivity/ income (by management of natural resources i.e. soil and water management and to reduce pesticide use through I.P.M.)
