ATMA Kangra was registered as an autonomous body under the societies Registration Act, 1860 on 16th March, 2000 to serve as focal point for integrating research and extension activities and for decentralizing the management of public extension system. The Research and Extension Institutions of the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs), Line Departments i.e. Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Sericulture, Fisheries and KVK & ZRS are the constituent members of this agency. Each institutions / units will be retained its identity/ affiliation but programs and procedure would be determined by ATMA GB and to be implemented by AMC.      
 

ATMA Office
The office of the ATMA Kangra has been set up in the Agriculture Complex, Palampur where refurbishment of the existing accommodation is accomplished within the funds provided by Govt. of India.
