Introduction of HYV paddy followed by linseed and masoor as a paira crop.
In the command area of Mayurakshi project an alarming problem is being faced by farmers which needs immediate attention. The maximum lowland field in this area has became marshy land, which makes it difficult to plough the fields. In these kind of land however farmers are growing Kharif and garma paddy regularly. With great difficulties, for but a serious problem i.e. land of these area, being marshy land, bullocks and tractors are not workable, making ploughing difficult. These increases the cost of cultivation per hector which makes farming uneconomical. This case may be referred to ZRS and BAU, Ranchi for further research.
