How to Get Admission: How to Get Admission into M.Sc (Agril.) in the Discipline of Extension Education in Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, Assam as a GOI Nominee. There are five seats reserved for Govt. of India nominees in the M.Sc (Agri.) Programme in Extension Education of the University. So far 14 Extension Officers have obtained their degrees from this University. Interested Candidates may apply with their BIO-DATA through their respective state directors to the Director, Extension Training , Government of India, Krishi Vistar Bhavan New Delhi -12 for admission into the M.Sc (Agri.) Course in Extension Education . After getting the nomination from DOE, Govt. of India they will have to submit applications for admission into the programme to the Director, Post Graduate Studies, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat - 785013 . The admission notification is normally given in the month of May every year .
Qualification Required : A candidate must have passed the B.Sc (Agri.) degree examination of this University or any other University recognized by this University, securing a minimum OGPA of 2.60 in 4.00 scale or 6.70 in 10.00 scale or equivalent marks in the traditional system . This is relaxable for candidates having 5 years of service experience and deputed by the Govt. of India to OGPA of2.30 in 4.00 scale or 6.42 in 10.00 scale or equivalent marks in traditional system . |
