i) To provide Guidance
in planning and execution of Extension Training Programmes.
ii) To make a
periodical review of the progress of training programmes.
iii) To take policy
decisions relating to the institute.
iv) To exercise such
powers as may be delegated by Govt. of India or Assam Agricultural University.
v) Supervising the
functioning of the institute, and
vi) Policy decision ,
if any
