Introduction:-
Ibrahimpatan Mandal in the present shape has been formed and came into existence on 15-05-1985 consequent on formation of Mandal from erstwhile Taluk of Ibrahimpatan. There are 33 Villages including 11 Hamlets in the Mandal. This Mandal consists of 22 Grampanchayts. This Mandal consists of 28 Revenue Village and One Major Grampanchayat. This Mandal is situated at South Eastern side of State Capital at a distance of 30 KMS from Hyderabad. Agriculture is the primary occupation of inhabitants of this Mandal. Main crops grown in the Mandal are Jowar, maize, paddy, vegetables and grapes, Irrigated crops grown under bore-wells/tanks. Most of the farmers depends upon rain fed cultivation.
In Ibrahimpatnam we have a population of over 57,852 peoples living in an area of 302.5 Sq.k.ms, or with a density of 154.91 for each Sq.k.m
