Animal Husbandry:

         Buffaloes:    Animal Husbanday is one of the main occupation of the village. This village has the largest  number of buffaloes in the Ghatkesar Mandal. In this village there are more than 1600 buffaloes. It hold the record of the first place in the Ghatkesar Mandal for the largest number buffaloes in the whole mandal. Their is a veterinary  hospital to meet the health requierments of the buffaloes. More than 10,000 liters of milk is supplied to the near by cities  Hyderabad and Secunderabad areas.

        Poultry Farms:       There are 4 poultry farms in the village. Most of the production is supplied to the near by cities Hyderabad and Secunderab.

         Grass:    In Parvathapur the main crop is "Grass". Because of more number of buffaloes in the village the villagers are growing grass in their lands, to meet the feeding needs of the buffaloes in the village. More over the chemical water that flows in to the river musi that flows along the river is also a reason for growing grass other than any crop. And the farmers are also getting good income of Rs.1200 to 1300 every month.
