OBJECTIVES OF SAMETI

To Promote modern management of Agricultural Extension as a major Instrument for development of human resources.

To impart appropriate training to officers and employees of Agricultural Department.

To provide in service training of multi-disciplinary nature to the staff engaged in development of agricultural and allied
services.

To develop appropriate relations between state, National and International Institutions working in the field of Agriculture
management .
To generate insight into management system of Agricultural extension and make critical studies there of so as to evolve
better management system.
To development modern management technique for Agricultural extension with regards to personnel management,
resource Management and input Management.
To development skills for training of Agricultural officers & employees for executing Agricultural Management methods to
conduct programmes and policy oriented research in the field of Management and Agriculture so as to provide
feedback to training programmes and formulate policy decisions.

To provide consultancy services in the use of Agricultural Management.

To function as the nodal state level Training Institute in the area of Agricultural Management.

Applied research related and other allied developmental activities.

Activities which promotes optimum use of water and land resources, publication of literature, production of audio visual
aids, organizing seminar, workshop etc.
