Present Work
Dr Shalendra has joined MANAGE on 4th December 2017 and is placed at the Centre for Supply Chain Management and Marketing in Agricultural Extension. His field of specialization is agricultural marketing and policy covering training, research and consultancy. During last ten years, he has developed and organized capacity building programs on different aspects of agricultural marketing like new paradigms of agricultural marketing, national agricultural market and value chain management. He has been associated with more than ten research studies focusing mainly on warehousing sector, value chain analysis of horticultural crops and development of market strategies for hilly states. He has also contributed in various institutional building and networking activities.

Educational Qualification

  • PhD in Agricultural Economics from G B Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, India. Completed in year 2003-04 with 80.9 percent marks and conferred with Jawaharlal Nehru Award for Outstanding Post-Graduate Agricultural Research – 2005 by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi
  • M Sc in Agricultural Economics from C S Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur, India. Completed in year 2000 with 87.1 percent marks
  • B Sc in Agriculture from C S Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur, India. Completed in year 1998 with 80.2 percent marks
  • National Eligibility Test (NET) in Agricultural Economics conducted by ASRB (http://asrb.org.in)
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management, IGNOU, New Delhi, India
