Present Work

Joined MANAGE in 1989. 

Specialized in gender studies and women in agriculture. Conducted more than 300 training programmes in the areas of team building, women in agriculture and conflict management in watershed programmes, community organisation etc. Offered consultancy to develop workshop modules for the  'gender workshops' for KRIBHCO rainfed farming project in Eastern India, funded by DFID.

Developed training modules supported by role play on negotiation and mediation skills for conflict resolution in watershed programmes. These modules have later became part of the 'Trainers Training Manual on Participatory Watershed management' brought out by MANAGE.

Honours

Gold Certificate by Coverdale Organisation, UK  in Coaching, Course Directing and Mentoring.

Work Experience

Prior to joining MANAGE, served as Social Scientist in National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad from 1982 to 1987. Has one year experience as an Instucture at the College of Home Science under ANGRAU(Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University), Hyderabad. The nature of job includes conducting field studies, report preparation, organising training programmes for field level functionaries on nutrition and community development.
