Work Experience

Started career in 1983 as a teacher in a private school to teach social studies for higher classes. Worked as LDC / Typist in the office of Asst. Director of Agriculture (Soil Testing Lab), Rajendranagar from 1984 to 1987. Joined NIRD in 1987 as LDC / Typist & Computer Operator and continued in the post till 1989. Later worked as Dealing Asst. and Confidential Secretary to the Registrar, NIRD till 1993. Gained experience in  handling all routine and confidential administrative matters, court cases, vigilance work and work related to EC/GC meetings.

Joined MANAGE in 1993 as LDC / Typist cum Stenographer in the Engineering wing and served for four years. In 1997 joined as Watershed Development Team Member. Concentrated on watershed development activities viz. motivating the farmers , formation of SHGs, imparting training, soil conservation works, water harvesting structures and horticultural development. Involved in preparation of action plans and case studies. 

Worked as UDC in the accounts section.

• Pursuing MBA from IGNOU
• Registered for Ph.D in Osmania University
• Pursuing Diploma in Women in Studies from Dr.B.R.A.Open University.

Honours

1. First Prize in essay competition on the topic 'aaj ki nari' in NIRD.

2. First Prize for the best presentation in communication skills in the course organised by the Russels Institute of Spoken English.

• Training on MS Office & DBase at NIRD
• Courses on MS Office, SQL, Visual Basic, and Internet  by NIIT at MANAGE in 2000.

• Course on Team buliding skills at MANAGE in 1997

Academic

• A two-week programme on TOT in watershed management at APARD, Hyderabad in 1998.
• Workshop on Orientation of case studies in Watershed Programmes in five pilot districts of AP in MANAGE.

IT Skills

Works on MS Office, SQL, VisualBasic 5.0, FrontPage and able to browse Internet. Familiar with tools such as FoxPro, Lotus-123, DBase, PageMaker etc. Learning Linux and web designing.
