Dr. K. Anand Reddy has joined MANAGE on 6th January, 2011. Prior to that he was a faculty member at IIHFW, a World Bank initiated apex training-cum-research Institute for Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. He is an Economics Postgraduate from the prestigious Loyola College, Chennai and a Doctorate in Management with Human Resource Management as thesis research area. His academic areas are General management, Human Resource Management and Economics. During his career, he has been engaged in a comprehensive range of academic functions, namely training coordination, training delivery, training module and Courseware development, , teaching, research, evaluation, consultancy, advisory services, project management, monitoring, committee work, field interventions, institute administration  and professional contributions. But Dr. Anand remains a trainer-cum-teacher at heart and has been one of the best rated trainers. He has also been a guest faculty member at quite a few well-known management institutions in and around Hyderabad. Being a multi-tasker, he has also been involved in several sponsored research projects on behalf of IIHFW. He has particularly developed a lot of interest in research leading to training. He has recently co-coordinated and co-authored an 18-month collaborative study, funded by Department for International Development (DFID) and supported by Centre for Good Governance (CGG) and State Program Intervention Unit (SPIU), on “Design of training for health functionaries working in the State department of Health & Family welfare”.

A major highlight of his 17-year public health academia experience is a year-long sabbatical stint as a ‘Reform Facilitator’ with the European Commission (EC) and DFID run Policy and Strategic Planning Unit (PSPU) at Bhubaneshwar wherein he contributed to the formulation of an unique state health sector reforms action plan in Orissa. He secured overseas exposure to globally benchmarked training and teaching practices through his EU-sponsored stint in the form of a faculty exchange visit to the London School of Economics (LSE), London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Leads University during February 2004.

His consultancy portfolio is distinguished by a medium-term assignment supported by DFID and EC for Orissa Government, a Macarthur Foundation supported evaluation exercise and a Ford Foundation supported evaluation initiative for Academy of Nursing Studies (ANS). He is currently working as Director (HRD) at MANAGE.
