SUMMER PLACEMENTS

Summer project is an essential part of the course and it is designed to make students understand the value of working and learning in an organization. Students are exposed to real life learning process.

2005-2007 Summer Placements

Major objectives of summer project are: -

· Organizational exposure.
· Application of classroom learning to real life situation.
· Understanding of fundamental business process.
· Inculcate intrinsic "value and vision" required to face the challenges ahead.

Project design: -

· Duration of the project is of 8 weeks.
· Presentation and Report submission.
· Evaluation based on feedback form Organization and In-house faculty.
· Discussion on Approach, Recommendation and area of Improvement

The students did their summers in varied areas of Agribusiness including inputs, Food sector ,procurement, banking, agri retailing, commodities and on various aspects of management like market research, supply chain management, operations etc.
