Agriculture sector being back bone of Indian economy, is still pretty much unorganized. People perceive it as an option to be selected when nothing good work to do is found. Farmers on majority do farming by following traditional practices which generally involve use of haphazard use of fertilizers and pesticides without checking/ identifying appropriate requirement. This further worsen the soil conditions followed by crop yield and results in limited to reduced income.
On the other hand, there are few progressive farmers and youth who believes in experimenting new things on farm and strive hard to improve their economic and social status. These people consider farming as a business activity and that brings in crucial change in approach towards farming.
MANAGE has witnessed the phenomenal change in agricultural practices when the individuals are trained in specialty areas in agriculture. They adapt improved practices which lead to higher yield and better management. Leading to better life and status. MANAGE trained 57250 individuals through ACABC Scheme and among them 23530 have established their businesses and are doing good in their respective areas.
We can categories stakeholders majorly in two types viz. Seeker (Mentee) and Giver (Mentor). Seeker are the individuals who are in need of continuous on field handholding support to implement their dream projects, they will be called Mentee while the individuals who have excelled in their businesses and are capable of replicating the business models efficiently will be at giver end, will be called Mentor. Mentors will handhold the Mentee to establish mentees business in their region.
Impulse will create the pool of Mentors by identifying the self-motivated, enthusiastic individuals who want to make a difference by helping other. Established entrepreneurs, experts form Universities, colleges, private companies and Corporates will be identifies and enrolled in Program.
Aspiring entrepreneurs (mentee) will be connected to right Mentor to fasten the process of business establishment and development. In addition, MANAGE Incubation Centre will also provide all the necessary support services to both (Mentor & Mentee). Incubation Centre will play a pivotal role to connect the right dots.
Impulse will trigger strengthening the agribusiness ecosystem and address the crucial need of expert guidance to establish more agribusinesses in India on a larger scale.
