Designed as an intensive capacity-building and mentorship ecosystem, the program serves as a catalytic space for aspiring aquapreneurs, early-stage startups, fisheries professionals, students, and innovators seeking to build sustainable ventures.

More than a training initiative, the Pre-Incubation Program functions as a guided entrepreneurial journey, where concepts are refined, business models are validated, regulatory pathways are understood, and investment readiness is cultivated. It bridges the gap between aspiration and execution, enabling participants to systematically transition from ideation to Minimum Viable Product (MVP) stage while strengthening the fisheries startup ecosystem.

Structure of the Program

The program is a 22-day intensive capacity-building initiative designed to provide both conceptual clarity and practical exposure.

• 30 hours of structured sessions delivered across 15 days
• Followed by one week of personalized one-on-one handholding support
• A uniquely designed paid program with an applicant fee of ₹1000/-

Through expert-led sessions, mentorship, and guided exercises, the program enables aquapreneurs to systematically move from the idea stage to MVP development, while building a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, regulatory requirements, fundraising strategies, branding, scaling pathways, and sector-specific challenges. By transforming raw ideas into structured, validated, and investment-ready ventures, the Pre-Incubation Mentoring Program strengthens the foundation of innovation-driven growth in India’s fisheries and aquaculture ecosystem.
