About the Program The Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) is aninitiative focusing on strengthening agricultural students’ capacities. The program aims to enhance entrepreneurial skills among students in agricultural universities across India and to promote innovation and startup culture in agriculture and allied sectors.

MANAGE's Role in the program

• Capacity Building: Conducts workshops and training programs to develop entrepreneurial skills among students in agricultural universities.
• Agripreneurship Promotion: Promotes startup culture and agri-based entrepreneurship through expert sessions, mentorship, and awareness initiatives.
• Curriculum and Policy Support: Assists in designing entrepreneurship-focused curricula and supports policy development.
• Collaboration with Universities: Partners withinstitutions to implement EDP activities and support incubation and innovation ecosystems.

Milestone achieved so far
Till date, MANAGE, Hyderabad has successfully conducted a total of 21 Entrepreneurship Development Programmes (EDPs) — 18 offline and 3 online — under this initiative. Through these programs, MANAGE has trained 1,603 students from four prominent agricultural universities:

• University of Horticultural Sciences, Bagalkot, Karnataka
• Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, Haryana
• Keladi Shivappa Nayaka Agricultural and Horticultural University, Shivamogga, Karnataka
• Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU), Guntur, Andra Pradesh

These programs have significantly contributed to building entrepreneurial capacities among students and fostering a culture of innovation in the agricultural sector.
