Participant of International training programme on “New Generation Competencies for Agripreneurs - January 15 - 28, 2025”
I am RashmaAfrose from Bangladesh, currently working as an Upazila Agriculture Officer in the Department of Agricultural Extension, Ministry of Agriculture. I am a participant in the International Training Program on New Generation Competencies for Agripreneurs under ITECatMANAGE.
Through this training program, I have had the opportunity to learn numerous innovative ideas for starting a new startup. I will try to apply these ideas, and I believe they will be beneficial for my country.
I think the nine blocks of the Business Model Canvas are effective for every startup. Furthermore, what surprised me the most was that incubation centres like T-Hub, WE-Hub, and Ag-Hub are providing a wide range of services such as fund facilitation, networking with mentors, connecting with strategic partners, monitoring, marketing, intellectual property management (IPM), legal support, and more.
They encourage students, farmers, rural people, and especially women who aspire to become entrepreneurs. Through this training program, I have been exposed to numerous technologies—from sowing to harvesting, including automated IoT-based technologies in the agriculture sector.
I would like to thank ITECand every member of the MANAGE team, especially Dr. Saravanan Raj, Director of Agricultural Extension, for giving me the opportunity to participate in this valuable training program and for making my journey smooth, wonderful, and memorable. I am truly honoured to be here.
