To build human capacity and institutional competence for agro processing, post harvest management, and agribusiness development.
The Institute delivers practical, market oriented training, that enable farmers, processors, cooperatives and small and medium enterprises to market raw agricultural commodities into safe, high value products.
Objectives
To design and deliver competency based courses in food processing, packaging, quality assurance and business management.
To provide short courses, certification programs
Facilitate linkages to finance, markets and regulatory agencies.
Monitor graduate outcomes and support enterprise incubation and scaling.
Thrust Areas
