1. Strengthen leadership and governance capacities of FPO Directors and CEOs for effective institutional management and accountability. 2. Enhance strategic planning and business development skills to enable sustainable growth and competitiveness of FPOs. 3. Improve financial management and resource mobilization capabilities for better transparency, credit linkage, and long-term viability. 4. Promote market-oriented and value chain leadership approaches to strengthen aggregation, branding, and collective marketing initiatives 5. Foster participatory, ethical, and inclusive leadership practices to build member trust, institutional resilience, and long-term sustainability.

Content

:

The session will focus on strengthening institutional leadership capacities within Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) to promote sustainable institutional development. It will cover core concepts of institutional governance, leadership frameworks, and strategic institutional planning. Participants will be introduced to practical tools for institutional assessment, governance diagnostics, financial oversight, and business planning. The session will emphasize participatory leadership approaches, institutional accountability mechanisms, and systems for enhancing transparency and member engagement. It will also include case studies of successful FPO institutional transformation and provide structured frameworks for designing, implementing, and monitoring institutional development strategies to ensure long-term viability and resilience.

Methodology

:

The methodology will include presentations, group discussions, and participatory exercises. Case study analysis and experience-sharing sessions will enhance peer learning. The Webinar will conclude with an interactive Q&A session and guidance on developing institutional action plans. Post-session resources, including slides, templates, and reference materials will be shared for continued learning and implementation.
