 Orientation of the participants on significance of scientific beekeeping for livelihood security.  Enhancing knowledge of the participants towards scientific beekeeping.  Sharing experiences of successful entrepreneurs/beekeepers for mobilizing the participants.  Creating awareness among participants about different programs/schemes related to beekeeping.

Content

:

 Significance of scientific beekeeping for livelihood security.  Role of Honey Bees and Pollinators in Livelihood Security.  Scientific bee management practices.  Bee products and its different uses for higher economic returns.  Diversification in apiculture for livelihood security.  Enhancing Entrepreneurial skills.  Sharing case studies on beekeeping.

Methodology

:

1. Course will be offered through online sessions and the link will be sent to the participants by e-mail 2. Selection of candidates: The participants will be selected as per the eligibility defined for the programme 3. Last Date for Applying online: 26th July 2024 before 5.30 pm. 4. Online examination: An online examination will be conducted on 31st July 2024, in which the participants have to respond 25 multiple choice questions through Google Form. 5. Issuing of certificate A digital certificate will be issued to the participants after fulfilling following criteria * Full time attendance * Minimum 40% score in online exam 6. Program Feedback: The participants have to rate each session as a feedback which will be incorporated through online mode
