To impart skills and knowledge to agricultural and animal husbandry extension professionals on various developments in processing and marketing of meat and poultry products including meat processing, retailing, value addition and online market place for meat and poultry products.

Importance entrepreneurship in national development; Contribution of meat and poultry industry to national economy; Meat and Poultry processing: Enhancing value of raw materials and doubling the income of livestock farmers; Modern trends in retail marketing of meat and poultry Value addition and further processing of meat : Untapped potential for entrepreneurs; Pork processing and entrepreneurial ideas; Smart packaging of meat and meat products: New technologies for modern markets; Development and marketing of value added, RE meat products for QSR; Institute-Industry collaborative approach for meat and poultry entrepreneurship; Hygienic production and marketing requirements for modern meat retailing; Small ruminant production requirements for quality meat; Alternate broiler poultry production: A new vista for broiler entrepreneurship; Organic meat: NRC-Meat efforts in developing new avenues; High value, low volume products: New technologies for entrepreneurs

Methodology

:

1. Course will be offered through online live sessions and the link will be sent to the participants e-mail 2. Selection of candidates: The participants will be selected as per the eligibility defined for the programme 3. Last Date for Applying online: 16th October, 2021, 5:30 pm 4. Online examination: An online examination will be conducted on 22nd October, 2021, 4:00-4:30 pm in which the participants has to respond 25 multiple choice questions through Google forms. 5. Issuing of certificate, A digital certificate will be issued to the participants after fulfilling following criteria * Full time attendance * Minimum 40% score in online exam 6. Program Feedback: The participants have to rate each session as a feedback which will be incorporated through online mode
