The main objective of the program is to orient participants on different extension approaches for water management and importance of Participatory Planning and Management for Water Resources. The program aims to build the capacity and expose the participants on Extension Approaches for Water management and focus on “More crop per drop”.

Importance of Water Resource and Water Resource Management under Rainfed conditions, Water Resource Planning and Management in the Context of National Water Policy (NWP) and PMKSY, Protective Irrigation, Water Use Efficiency and concept of Virtual water, Aquifer based Ground Water Resource Management , Water Saving Technologies - More Crop Per Drop, Extension approaches for Water Resources- Promotion of Farmers Organizations for Water Management, etc

Methodology

:

(1) Course will be offered online through Live Webinar (2) The training will be supported by PPTs and reading material(3) Webinar link will be sent to the registered candidates (4) Program period – 3 days from 23-25 June, 2021 (5) It will be followed by an online Examination on 25 June, 2021 (6) Link will be open only for 24 hrs for writing exam (7) Candidates with a score of more than 50% marks will get e- certificate from MANAGE
